Contributing to the Pagan Grimoire

At the Pagan Grimoire, we pride ourselves by publishing well-researched, knowledgeable content about witchcraft, magic, tarot, and mythology.

Established in 2020, The Pagan Grimoire publishes content written by field experts, academics, and practitioners. Most of our readership is based in the United States, but we have readers all over the world.

Want to Write for The Pagan Grimoire?

Our mission at the Pagan Grimoire is to publish engaging, service-oriented content of an academic standard within our online grimoire. In honor of that, we prefer writers with a Masters degree in one of the following areas: Mythology, Folklore, Classics, or Ancient History.

But, we also understand that is not possible for all topics we write about. In that case, we look to longtime practitioners or subject matter experts.

For all writers, we look for clear, to-the-point writing that is both engaging and informative. You’ll be writing articles supported by primary and secondary sources and, sometimes, original interviews.

If you are accepted as a writer, you will receive full credit for the post and will have an author profile page on The Pagan Grimoire.

We pay a nominal fee of $50-$100 per post via PayPal or platforms like Upwork.

We do not accept guest posts.

How to Apply

To apply as a writer, please submit the following in the form:

• Let us know why you want to write for us and tell us about your relevant experience or education in the topic area. If we contact you we may also ask you for a copy of your resume or CV.
• Let us know what you want to write about. This can be a topic area or a specific topic.
• Provide a link where we can review your clips or academic papers.
